This week has been majorly cut short due to a couple national and city holidays taking place in Italy today and tomorrow.

I don’t want to, but unfortunately I’ll be mia this week, since I got the time off work also Friday, but I wanted to leave you with this super cool dancey remix of Lana del Rey’s Video Game track which I can’t stop listening to.

Coming up soon, I’ll be posting about my second personal shopper adventure which took place earlier this week, so stay tuned to find out more about my friend’s wardrobe transformation and where it’s headed. :)

Can you guess what’s in the bag?!

Frisbee and a Heine

Written by manu on . Posted in fashion & style

So I must say having been raised by pseudo-ex-hippie parents has left behind several legacies which I’ve unhesintatingly adopted and integrated into my lifestyle ever since I was little.

My insatiable passion for music is one of them- my all time favorite LPs which I grew up listening to (together with my dad’s guitar) while reading the teeny weeny lyrics on the back cover include (in order of importance) Pink Floyd, Dire Straits, Kool & The Gang and Earth, Wind & Fire.

Walking naked around the house is another. Just to give you an idea, I’m pretty sure that my brother-in-law back in the day when he was courting my sister, got a better glimpse of his 14 year old (naked) sister-in-law to be, than he did his own girlfriend in a bikini.

And last but not least, playing frisbee. Some of the best memories I have from when I was a yOuNg, tomboyish bRaT, was playing frisbee with daddy. We played just about anywhere. Beach was best or the park right around the corner from my house. Speaking of which, here’s me playing frisbee (or freshening up after some good throws) in Milan’s Parco Sempione. Mind you it’s currently very hot and humid here, so I went for the shortest pair of ripped denim shorts I found in my closet which gave Milan’s helicopter mosquitoes plenty of room to bite and tied a flashy orange bandana on my head to keep my forehead dry.
